21/10/2011 Janine Maunder's Blink Janine is the vocalist who sings the track Circles among a few others on the album of the same name. She is currently on tour in Germany. I had the good fortune to return the favor by playing some keys on her record. It is a gorgeous collection of songs and you can check it out here.

In one of the most ambitious documentary series ever made, Go Back To Where You Came From brings the hottest debate in Australia from the front page of the newspaper into living rooms around the country. Six Australians, who agree to challenge their preconceived notions about refugees and asylum seekers, go on a confronting 25-day journey tracing in reverse the journeys that real refugees have taken to reach Australia. 25th August 2010 Sudanese singer Ajak Kwai Simon has recently joined the band of Ajak Kwai and have some shows coming up around Melbourne. They will be opening the Darebin Arts festival on the 3rd of Sep and doing their own show at Northcote Town Hall on the 5th

12 April 2010 Back to work on Album 3 I am back in the zone again working to complete album 3 at the beach studio. Most of it has come together nicely but have been wrestling with a couple of songs to get them into shape for release:) I hope to have some samples up soon.

2nd April 2009 Recording Sessions with KV Balu K.V. Balu, who plays tabla and Indian percussion on Circles and Freedom Deluxe was recently in Perth with the Laya Project opening the Perth International Arts Festival. I headed over and did some recording sessions for the new album. Superb musician! Check out the Laya Project DVD!

7th December 2008 1 Giant Leap Sessions Duncan Bridgeman from 1 Giant Leap was recently in Australia promoting the new film 'What About Me' and joined with Amanaska on stage at Loop in Melbourne and a secret show in Byron Bay. Duncan interviewed Simon at BayFM in Byron Bay.

7th December 2008 Opening The Ethnic Business Awards in Sydney Amanaska performed at the opening of the Ethnic Business Awards in Sydney which will be televised on SBS in Australia and to an audience of 60 milliion worldwide.Kevin Rudd was the special guest and Simon was joined by Jono Callow and Pin Rada on stage.
